The Vela Lamjana bay, located on the NW side of Ugljan Island, is not only a well protected natural port; it presents as well a beautiful panorama of turquoise sea and hills abundant with Mediterranean pine, olive trees and aromatic medicinal herbs. Ugljan has the greatest number of sun-hours in the Zadar sea area, its mild and favourable climate conditions (average winter temperature of 7°C, average summer temperature of 24°C) ensures the work of the shipyard throughout the whole year which facilitate works with the least delays.
